Microwave Hijiki Rice Ball Bento
Ingredients:
100 g hijiki
30 g carrot (cut into thin strips)
1/2 abura-age (cut into thin strips)
1 shiitake mushroom (cut into thin strips)
2 Tbsp dashi (Japanese stock)
2 tsp sugar
2 tsp soy sauce
1 tsp sake
1 tsp sesame oil
Directions
1. In a microwave-safe dish combine the hijiki, abura-age, shiitake mushroom, dashi, sugar, soy sauce, sake, and sesame oil.
2. Cover with plastic wrap, then microwave (600W) for 2 minutes and 40 seconds.
3. In a bowl, combine the rice and 2, make rice balls.
