Veg Tomato Omelette Sandwich
Servings - 2 - 3
INGREDIENTS
(For Green Chutney)
Coriander - 15 grams
Mint - 15 grams
Green chili - 1 tablespoon
Ginger - 1 tablespoon
Sugar - 1 teaspoon
Chaat masala - 1/2 teaspoon
Cumin powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Salt - 1 teaspoon
Lemon juice - 15 millilitres (For Veg Tomato Omelette Sandwich)
Gram flour - 170 grams
Salt - 1 teaspoon
Red chili - 1 teaspoon
Coriander powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Cumin powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Turmeric - 1/4 teaspoon
Asafoetida - 1/4 teaspoon
Onions - 55 grams
Bell pepper - 50 grams
Tomato - 150 grams
Green chili - 1/2 teaspoon
Coriander - 2 tablespoons
Water - 250 milliliters
Oil - for brushing
Bread slices
Ketchup - to taste
Butter - for brushing

PREPARATION
(For Green Chutney)
1. In a blender, add all the ingredients and blend it into a smooth paste.
2. Keep aside. (For Veg Tomato Omelette Sandwich)
1. In a mixing bowl, add 170 grams gram flour, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon red chili, 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder, 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder, 1/4 teaspoon turmeric, 1/4 teaspoon asafoetida and mix it well.
2. Then, add 55 grams onions, 50 grams bell pepper, 150 grams tomato, 1/2 teaspoon green chili, 2 tablespoons coriander, 250 milliliters water and mix it well to make a thick batter.
3. Heat some oil in a pan, add the prepared batter on it and spread it evenly.
4. Cook on moderate heat for 2 - 3 minutes.
5. Brush it with oil.
6. Flip it gently.
7. Brush it with oil again.
8. Cook on moderate heat until it turns dark brown in color from both sides.
9. Remove it from heat and place it on a board.
10. Cut it sides to make a square.
11. Take two bread slices and spread prepared green chutney over one slice.
12. On other slice spread the ketchup on it.
13. Place the prepared omelette on it.
14. Cover it with another slice of bread.
15. Place it on a grill machine and brush it butter.
16. Grill for 3 - 5 minutes or until it turns golden brown in color.
17. Cut it into half.
18. Serve hot.
